About Rocky Neck State Park

710 acres of shoreline along Long Island Sound make up this recreation area, spanning a white sand beach with a small boardwalk, a tidal river, and a broad salt marsh. A large stone pavilion built in the 1930s still stands on the grounds. The park is managed by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, and it sits within the town of East Lyme.
