About Moccasin Creek State Park

A fishing pier built for accessibility, including for the physically disabled, elderly visitors, and children, sits along the western shore of Lake Burton. The park covers 32 acres and also offers campgrounds and walking trails. Despite the mountainous terrain surrounding the area, the camping ground itself stays relatively flat.
