About Dillard Mill State Historic Site
A water-powered gristmill stands on Huzzah Creek, the focal point of this 132-acre property. Missouri's Department of Natural Resources runs the grounds under a lease with the L-A-D Foundation, an arrangement dating to 1975, even though the underlying land remains privately owned. The mill earned a listing on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.
