About Scott Joplin House State Historic Site

The Scott Joplin Residence on Delmar Boulevard preserves the home where the composer lived from 1901 to 1903. The Missouri Department of Natural Resources maintains the house and its grounds as a state historic site. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places and named a U.S. National Historic Landmark in 1976.
