About Parker Dam State Park

A dam-formed lake sits at the center of 968 acres surrounded entirely by Moshannon State Forest, giving the park a wooded, enclosed feel. The Civilian Conservation Corps built the park's original facilities during the Great Depression, and many of those structures remain in use today. The land itself lies within Huston Township, reached from Pennsylvania Route 153 near Interstate 80's exit 111.
