About Tobyhanna State Park

5,440 acres surround Tobyhanna Lake, a 170-acre body of water at the center of this park, along with a stretch of Tobyhanna Creek. Most of the land sits in Coolbaugh Township, with a smaller portion reaching into Dreher and Lehigh townships. The main entrance is on Pennsylvania Route 423, and another section of the park borders Route 196. It shares boundaries with Gouldsboro State Park and two state game lands, 312 and 127.
