About Nathan Bedford Forrest State Park
The western shore of Kentucky Lake, the Tennessee River impoundment, borders this park just north of the community of Eva. Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation manages the site's 2,587 acres. As the oldest of the state's protected lands from this original establishment period, it has been in operation since 1929.
