About Bear Creek Lake State Park

A 40-acre artificial lake sits at the center of this 326-acre park, which is surrounded entirely by the much larger 16,000-acre Cumberland State Forest. The park combines recreation and camping grounds built around that lake. In 2013, visitation reached 78,288 people, giving a sense of how much the grounds see use over the course of a year.
