About Kinnickinnic State Park
Protection here centers on the confluence where the Kinnickinnic River, known locally as the Kinni, meets the St. Croix River. The 1,242-acre park was set aside to preserve this river mouth, where the current has built a sandy delta. Boaters can land on that delta to picnic or camp, making the water meeting itself the park's central feature.
