About Staunton State Park

Rock formations rise above streams that cut through 3,908 acres of land, feeding a waterfall within the property's boundaries. The ground was recognized in late 2012 on the National Register of Historic Places under the name Staunton Ranch-Rural Historic Landscape, months before the park itself opened to visitors in May 2013. The acreage spans both Park and Jefferson counties.
