169 acres spanning Oxford and Southbury hold this park's mix of woods and water along Eight Mile Brook. A covered bridge crosses the brook, and a fire tower stands within the grounds alongside the waterfalls that give the park its name. Fishing and hiking trails run through the property, which the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection manages.
