Undeveloped shoreline on both Greenleaf and Sioux Lakes makes up the bulk of this recreation area, which sits roughly midway between Hutchinson and Litchfield. Its boundaries were drawn by the Minnesota Legislature, but the state is still buying land from willing sellers, and two-thirds of the property inside those boundaries remains privately owned. Some portions are open for day-use recreation, though no facilities have been built on site yet.
