About Goodale State Park
A 140-acre lake formed as a Civil War era mill pond anchors the park, giving canoeists a starting point to reach Pine Tree Creek. From there a three-mile canoe trail follows the creek through stands of tall cypress trees. The waterway access and the pond's mill history are the notable features described for visitors deciding whether to paddle here.
